Zannah, 5, took time to answer some impromptu questions for MS. Here’s how
she responded:
Are you saved?
Yeah.
Who told you that you were saved?
You. And everybody says that I am.
What do you want to be when you’re a big girl?
I want to be a grocery girl so I can take the groceries
and pay for them. It’s fun.
Do you ever get in trouble?
No.
What does your dad do?
Nothing. He goes to school and gives us water and if we run out, he
gives us more.
Do you like school?
No.
Why not?
Because they keep being mean to me. I just like my teacher.
What’s your favorite subject?
Painting.
What do you paint?
I paint a baby doll. And little kids, and a bus behind them so they can get
on it. It’s orange.
What do you learn about at church?
I learn about Jesus. But I don’t know what they say about Him because
I’m sleep.
What does your mommy do?
She’s a first grade teacher and a reading teacher. My sister goes to first
grade.
What song do you like best?
Spaghetti Noodles, Brush Your Teeth, Teapot, Marching Band, Rain Rain,
Feed the Lion, Five Little Pigs and a Wolf. The wolf blew their house
down.
Why would the wolf do that?
Because he didn’t like the pigs.
Who wrote the Bible?
Jesus.
Why?
Because He wanted everybody to learn about Jesus.
Who’s in the Bible?
Joseph and Jesus. Joseph is the one who ate the apple. He got kicked
out of Heaven, and the girl was in the bushes with him eating the apple.
What do you dream about?
That Jesus played with me and He told me to go home because I didn’t
like school.
Who’s in charge of the world?
Jesus. I hear that in the Bible.
Who’s in charge of you?
My mom.
And who are you in charge of?
Myself!
What happened when Jesus died and they buried Him?
He was laying down and then He went to Heaven.
Why did He come back to life?
Because He wanted everybody to breathe and drink water and He don’t
want anybody to die.
So what is He doing now in Heaven?
Watching all of us.
