Shaniya
Shaniya, 7, took time to answer some impromptu questions for MS. Here's how
she responded:
What do you think they do with the offering money at church?
Count it.
And then what?
They pay the bills.
What is God’s job?
To help people.
What’s the president’s job?
To help the country.
Who is Jesus Christ?
He died for us.
Why would He do something like that?
Because we needed Him to die
for our sins.
Where is Jesus now?
In Heaven.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A teacher.
That’s cool. Why do you want to be a teacher?
So I can help kids.
What’s your favorite subject in school?
I like reading.
Well reading is good … what book do you like the most?
If You Give a Mouse A Cookie …
That’s the name of a book?! What’s it about?
Well there was this mouse and he wanted a cookie. So he follows this little
boy into his house and becomes friends with the boy and gets a cookie.
Hmmm … and then what happened after the mouse got the cookie?
He asked for milk!
That’s funny. Do you ever pray?
Yes.
What do you pray about?
I say grace.
Grace is good. Do you pray at night sometimes?
Yes, sometimes ... for God to keep us safe.
He will. You know, they say the country is having problems with money. What do
you do with your money?
I save it.
You do? How much have you saved up?
$45.
That’s a whole bunch! How much more do you want to save?
$300.
And what will you do with it when you get that much?
I’m going to buy something for all of my family!
Well how sweet of you to share! Sharing is what God wants us to do, right?
Yeah.
