Koty
Koty, 9, took time to answer some impromptu questions for us. Here’s how he
responded:

What do you do at church?
Worship Him and give Him glory.

Give Him glory for what?
Because Jesus died for our senses.

I see. Well, who is Jesus?
He’s the Son of God. He wants things on earth as it’s done in Heaven. My
mom and dad told me who Jesus is.

Who is our president?
George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Who is our president now?
Oh, George W. Bush, because nobody wanted to vote for John Kerry.

What does President Bush do?
He makes meetings, they have white houses, and sometimes there’s
meetings in other rooms, next door. There’s one person who didn’t live
in the White House, that’s George Washington.

How much offering do you give at church?
I think $1.

What does the preacher speak about?
God, Jesus, Heaven in the Bible. God is not trying to get you to the
wrong side, but to the right side…a place that’s great!

What do you learn about in Sunday School?
Jacob. Did you know that he wrestled with an angel all night? The angel
changed his name to Israel. He was the country of Heaven. And did you
know that Joseph’s dad made him a coat? And his brothers got
jealous…he was in a pit…with no water and food…and a wild animal
came and ripped the coat off him…and Joseph escaped and went to a
kingdom…then he was in jail…then the king chose Joseph to be in
charge…then his three brothers didn’t notice him, but Joseph
recognized them…

Do you pray?
Not actually. But sometimes my dad tells me to pray in the morning.

What’s your dad’s favorite football team?
Miami Dolphins.

Do you like them?
Um…my dad likes them.

What is Thanksgiving?
It has turkey, food, drinks, a lot of people…

What is Christmas?
They’ve got presents, Christmas trees with candy canes, a star on it…

Why do you think God wants us to be saved?
Because He’s trying to take care of us, because we are His servants. I
know that.
