Kobe
Kobe, 7, took time to answer some impromptu questions for us. Here’s what he
had to say:
Why does the church need musicians?
So the singers can sing with the beat.
How do you think they would sound if there were no music?
Bad!
Are you saved?
Yes.
How do you know?
Because I come to church and worship God and sing His music and by
being a preacher.
Who is your favorite preacher?
Grandpa.
Why do you have to dress up sometimes for church?
Because there might be a funeral, and you might be a preacher.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Uh, let me see…a football player, a running back.
What’s your favorite part of school?
Outside…to play football.
What do you want to do in the church?
Play drums.
Who is Jesus Christ?
I don’t know. Uh…God.
How do you help others to learn about Jesus Christ?
Preach it to them.
What’s the best part about church?
The preaching.
What’s the worst part?
The singing. It’s too loud.
Well, how are you going to play the drums if the music is too loud?
I’ll just ignore the loud noise.
I just have two more questions and this will be over.
Good!
What’s the best thing you know about God?
That He beat the devil and made him go down there.
Where is ‘down there’?
Hell.
