Keona, 7, took time to answer some impromptu questions for us. Here’s what she
had to say:

What job does your mom do at work?
She gives people shots and checks their fever. She gives them a prick on
their finger and she scoops up the blood with a thing that looks like a
glass, but it’s not really a glass.

What about your dad, what does he do when he goes to work?
He builds houses that people can live in.

Do you know what an angel is?
An angel has wings and they watch over you
through the night.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A chef.

That’s interesting, what kind of food do
you want to make?
Spaghetti, French fries and mashed potatoes!
On Sundays, I help my mom and dad cook.
They let me cut up onions and other things.

Do you like sports?
Yes, cheerleading and basketball.

What do you like about cheerleading?
Because you can do splits and jumps and stunts.

What’s a stunt?
When you have two people on the bottom, one person in front, and one in
the back and everybody put their hands like this to hold the person on top
and that person stands on the top and put their arms up in the air.

That sounds kind of fun. What subject do you like at school the best?
Math.

What do you do after school?
Sometimes I lay down and watch TV, and sometimes I play with my Bratz
dolls.

Do you know who God is?
Ummmmm … the Lord?

Yes, what’s His job?
To pray for people.

Well what does He do when we pray?
Listen.

What’s the Bible all about?
I never read it, but I’m gonna try to answer this question. A book that
keeps you on track. It’s about God.

Do you think that everybody should go to church?
Yes because when everybody goes to church, they can praise God, sing
and pray.

Do you say grace before you eat?
Ummmm ... I don’t know anything about grace.

Do you pray?
Sometimes when my neck is hurting, I tell Him to make it stop.
