Alexandra
Alexandra, 10, took time to answer some impromptu questions for MS. Here’s how
she responded:

What does God mean to you?
He means everything because He died on the cross
so that I can live.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A lot of things. A lawyer, a singer,
the world’s top model, a pediatrician, and a dancer.

A lawyer and a pediatrician? That’s a lot of school.
I would pick one, a lawyer.

What do you like about lawyers?
I don’t know, I like being a lawyer because
they make a lot of money. And my mom’s interested in it too.

What’s the best thing you’ve learned at church that has helped you in your life?
My mom says don’t have babies until you’re married.

Why do you think she told you that?
Because it’s hard to take care of a child by yourself.

What do you like to read in the Bible?
Sometimes I just open the book and start reading.

That’s not terrible. A lot of people do that. What’s your favorite song?
The Will of God.

Who’s your favorite singer?
KiKi Sheard.

What’s a Bible story you’ve learned about?
David was the one who, if somebody dreamed something, he knew what
the dream meant when he heard it. I think David was the one that they put
in the lion’s den. He also loves Jesus a lot.

How do you know that?
Because he kept going to Him praying when he did something wrong.

Tell me about the time you got sick.
We were in the car and I ate something I wasn’t supposed to have and it
made me sick. My head started hurting really bad and I was crying and
screaming in the car. And then I started speaking, “I’m healed, devil you
can’t have me, I’m a child of God!”

Who told you to say that?
Nobody.

Then what happened?
I started singing a song. My mom gave me some medicine the next
morning and I was feeling better.

So you think the praying helped too?
Yeah.

Who wrote the Bible?
Jesus, God.

Why do we have the Bible?
So we can be saved and go to Heaven.

Are you going to Heaven?
Yeah.

How do you know?
I think, I don’t know. Because I love Jesus and I’m saved.

What will Heaven be like?
Nothing but gold and angels and people who died and went to Heaven.

What will you do there?
Look down on my peeps.

What will it be like when you meet God?
I don’t know.

Are you scared to meet Him?
No.

That’s good, lots of people are scared. What will you tell your friends about why
they should be saved?
Jesus loves you and He died on the cross for you. He was beaten so you
can live. When they die, they can go to Heaven and be happy in Heaven.
